Article I — Purpose & Intent
This Agreement is entered into by and between James Chen ("Partner A") and Emily Rodriguez ("Partner B"), in contemplation of their forthcoming marriage in the State of New York. The Parties intend to define their respective rights and obligations with respect to property, support, and related matters.
Article II — Separate Property
All property owned by either Party prior to the marriage, and all property acquired by either Party during the marriage by gift, devise, bequest, or inheritance, shall remain the Separate Property of the acquiring Party and shall not be subject to equitable distribution.
